![]() ![]() To tabulate the issue, i have created the following table:Ĭomputer | Manifest Embedded | Dependency Issue | It seems that it is because the dll is referencing to a newer version 4053 which is not fully compatible with the older 1433. However, it has dependency issue when running on the other computer with only the older CRT version. It is able to locate the dll in the winsxs folder. When i build my dll with the manifest embedded, i have no dependency issue when running dependency walker on my computer. I have two computers, one with the latest/newer CRT (MSVCP80 version 4053), another with an older CRT (MSVCP80 version 1433). I'm currently trying to complie a dll which dynamically links MSVCP80.DLL to it.
